Monday Night Television...And Other Stuff

Posted by Kerstin at 4:19 PM
Monday nights are my House nights. I love House. I love Hugh Laurie. I DON'T love Foreman or Taub on the show though. I want Cameron and Chase back. :( Oh well.

Tonight's episode stars Meat Loaf. He plays "Eddie" who is already having medical problems but the drama centers his wife who collapses while she's taking care of him, and just gets worse in the hospital. But with House, isn't that always the case???

Also tonight is the season premier of The Hills. Now normally, I'm all about the vapid Hollywood reality star, but I believe I'm overly saturated by this show. And it's all because of Speidi. I haven't watched the last two seasons except to see snippets of Audrina. I don't know what it is about her, but I just love her. It's probably because she's so freaking gorgeous!

For those not into the reality that is MTV, or the unreality that is FOX, you might want to check out the NCAA Championship series starting tonight. The series kicks off with Michigan State taking on Connecticut. My teams lost fairly early in the series. *Sigh

This weekend, I got caught up on some movie watching. I saw House Bunny and Rocknrolla. Both were very entertaining and I am not a bit sad I didn't see them in theaters. Oh well.

House Bunny was so funny! Ha, I made a rhyme! Anyway....Anna Farris is cute as hell and really gave a spot on performance of everyone's perception of the typical playboy bunny. She was a sweetie who isn't book smart, but made us believe in her brain by the end. I really enjoyed the whole thing. Especially that Tyson Ritter (All American Rejects) was in it. What a hottie!

Rocknrolla stars one of my favorite pieces of eye candy, Gerard Butler. I love everything about him, but if I had to pick one thing, it's his accent. Lawd it makes me melt! He plays a thug who gets caught up in a twisted deal with the self appointed London Mob boss, an incoming Russian mob boss, the London boss's stepson, and a host of other misfits in a twisted caper that goes awry for just about everyone involved. It was a little hard to follow at times, but it all came together nicely and made sense in the end. Guy Ritchie directed and I have to say it was a really great movie and I highly recommend it.

That's it for the weekend recap. Hope you got to check out the Tudors season three premier! TTFN
